I know I am posting this in the CFB forum. I will show the relevance soon.

So, the question is, how many of you have vehicles with Apple Car Play? Or Android Car Play? Most new Chevys have it, but my wife’s Honda does too.

Ok, the reason I ask is I ran across this little jewel the other day.

It’s called a Car Play Adapter. So…. You plug this into your car/truck’s USB port, the. Using the HDMI port on the Car Play Adapter, you plug in your Amazon Fire Stick, or a Roku Stick. This unit also has a UsB port on it so you can power the Streaming Stick ….. then follow a few simple on screen instructions, and the next thing you know, you’re watching the game on your vehicle’s screen.

Now I know y’all are saying thats distracted driving……. Well, yeah, it is, but it’s not like we wouldn’t be checking the score constantly anyway. This is for when the wife schedules a trip, or RsVP’s Yes to a wedding invitation during college football season.

I would use a more well known name brand, these kinds of things DO work, I have seen them live.

I don't know if this would, or wouldn't, work - but I do know the magic box works.

Mine works. I used it.
Now here I was thinking I was breaking a scoop.

A couple months ago, right before the season started, I had to drive to work. I work about 14 hours from where I live. Thats a long drive. Well for the drive home, I teed up some old Ole Miss games that I attended growing up, one was the 1986 Egg Bowl, another was the 1983 Tennessee game in Knoxville (They had Reggie White and he was an absolute beast in that game). There were a couple more.

My point is, I had these games teed up, and was planning on listenting to them to keep me awake on that long drive. I wondered then if htere was a way to play them on that screen.....and now i found it. I am happy as a pig in shit

My company truck has it and it never works right. But maybe that’s a Dodge problem. I’m totally unimpressed with this Ram 2500, 28,000 miles and the damned seatbelts don’t even roll up anymore. We got 7 of these at once, all have faulty seatbelts and weak sound systems.

This won’t work for me as I have state farm and part of the deal is screen time is monitored while in the car. Booo
