Well, I think it’s official. Ryan Day is firmly on the hot seat. His inability to adjust quickly in this era of college football will cost this team yet another Natty.

1. He stayed loyal to the former O line coach Strudawara (sp?) too long and then missed on the new O line hire from UCLA. Both coaches have shown they were never able to recruit and or develop the talent. Without an O Line that’s worth a damn, it don’t matter how many 5 star talents play in your skill room.

This is now fully evident in that Ohio State not only took 1 loss at Oregon, but they took another 1 as well. The second was most likely the bigger of the two. Losing 2 key O linemen to season ending injuries in the Oregon game all but ensured Ohio States high powered offense will remain in the garage under wraps.

This showed up in a big way when Ohio State couldn’t get anything going against the Nebraska Corn Fuckers. A team that Indiana beat 58-7 the week prior. Having to come from behind with less than 6 min left in the game and hold off a late Nebraska drive was incomprehensible to many, but the reality of the day.

Ohio State poured 25 million (allegedly) into this team. They’re now 1 loss away from not playing in Big Ten Championship game and most likely missing the playoffs. What is worse, they suffered another likely season ending injury to a backup O lineman yesterday and have 6 days to prepare for facing Pedo St in sad valley.

Quite literally Ohio State faces the real possibility of playing the role of one of the many Jerry Sandusky locker room victims in front of soon to be President Trump next Saturday.

But the possible pain doesn’t end there. What looked like a sure victory over the Michigan cheaters this year now doesn’t look so sure. Ohio State also faces that newly revived Indiana team the week before.

Ryan Days tenure at Ohio State could be coming to an unceremonious end with a 9-3 or 8-4 season (losses being to Oregon, Penn St, Indiana, and Michigan) staring him in the face.

I personally believe there is more going on behind the scenes that will come out, but all too often it’s been the decisions of this coaching staff that have cost Ohio State in almost every big game they’ve played since 2018. The question remains, if the above plays out, does he keep his job? Who is available to replace him? I certainly don’t want to hear the same coach speak I’ve heard after every unsuccessful run at a natty the last several years. What I do know is this, Ohio States and possibly Ryan Days fates are intertwined next Saturday, does he buck up, or get flushed like the charmin I think he is in Sad Valley….

To be continued

Ok, I will play.
Who do yall target?
I’d love to get Lanning from Oregon, but that isn’t happening. Could go after the new Indiana coach who is an obvious winner. Who I really want but won’t take it, Mike Vrabel from the Titans. He is an OSU guy who is defensive minded and would be able to get rid of the soft face Day has put on OSU.

This was always going to be an issue. Who the hell is Ryan Day? Who the hell was he before he was given this job? He wouldn’t be welcome at any ACC job really. Maybe Florida State, as they are the shit holes of the ACC right now.
