When we played Wake Forest this year, in Winston Salem, They then bought out the return trip to Oxford. No reason was given as to why, but its pretty clear they didn't want to play that game.
As everyone knows, these schedules are made years in advance. To cancel a game, the year before it is to be played, is just a bad move. But it appears that the AD did their jobs and picked up Washington State. They will play in Oxford next season.
Since the PAC-12 is basically a dead conference, and what was once a Power 5 conference, got relegated, and therefore Ole Miss will have to acquire a waiver from the SEC to play a non-P4 team, on our 25 schedule, but with the WF cancellation, there was not many options. The SEC should oblige.
